Urban Outreach
The Siebert Lutheran Foundation has extended the time that we have to accomplish our goal of $30,000.00 under their challenge grant. We are very thankful for this opportunity, as our time line has now been extended to March 31st, 2012. All money collected under this program, goes right back into the outreach initiatives that our churches within Milwaukee are involved in. These programs were created to help our churches become community gathering locations and places where people can connect with Christ and grow in relationship with Him. This year we are planning on becoming involved in several joint outreach projects that will focus specifically on the homeless and that will span across the urban community. We are currently involved with over 50 outreach programs within our churches within the following categories:
